JAKARTA – PT Saratoga Investama Sedaya Tbk (SRTG) has once again increased its shareholding in PT Merdeka Copper Gold Tbk (MDKA) by purchasing 121,764,199 shares on March 5, 2025.

“SRTG bought MDKA shares at a price of IDR 1,405 per share,” said Sandi Rahaju, Head of Legal and Corporate Secretary at SRTG, in an official statement on Tuesday (11/3).

In other words, the total funds spent by SRTG in this transaction amounted to IDR 171.07 billion.

The share purchase was made by SRTG along with PT Provident Capital Indonesia to maintain SRTG’s position as the controlling shareholder in MDKA.

Prior to this transaction, SRTG held 4.79 billion MDKA shares, or 19.58%. With the addition of 121.76 million shares, SRTG’s ownership increased to 4.91 billion shares, or 20.08%. (DK/ZH)
