See RMKE’s strategy to book net profit of IDR 446.7 billion in 2025

JAKARTA - PT RMK Energy Tbk (RMKE) is optimistic about recording better performance in 2025, targeting a net profit of IDR 446.7 billion, a growth of 62.5% compared to last year.
The logistics services company also aims to increase coal load volume to 11.2 million tonnes, a rise of 24.1% from the previous realisation.
Vincent Saputra, President Director of RMKE, said that to reach this target, RMKE will add two new coal logistics service customers, namely PT Wiraduta Sejahtera Langgeng and PT Duta Bara Utama.
“We are also accelerating the construction of the hauling road connecting our operational area with PT Bukit Asam Tbk (PTBA)," he said in an official statement on Tuesday (11/3).
In addition, RMKE plans to develop a new container yard (CY) at the Gunung Megang loading station in Muara Enim, to increase coal loading capacity from 4 million tonnes to 8 million tonnes per year.
Vincent added that RMKE will also enhance the loading station capacity in Simpang, South Sumatra, with bottom dump technology to improve logistics efficiency.
“With these various strategies, the company also targets business revenue growth of IDR 3.9 trillion, an increase of 58.5% compared to the previous year,” Vincent said.
To support this expansion, RMKE has allocated capital expenditure (capex) of IDR 330 million this year, marking an increase of 33.17% or IDR 247.8 million from last year.
“RMKE is optimistic that despite the tendency for coal prices to weaken, the improvement in operational efficiency will help the company maintain positive growth,” said Vincent. (DK/KR/ZH)
