JAKARTA – PT Kreasi Jasa Persada (KJP), a subsidiary of PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN), has recently made a substantial purchase of shares in PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO).

KJP bought 48,545,800 PTRO shares on March 7, 2025, at IDR 3,306.84 each, with a total outlay of IDR 160.53 billion.

Previously, KJP had also increased its shareholding in PTRO by purchasing 39.72 million shares in two stages on March 4 and 5, 2025. With an average price of IDR 3,030 per share, the total investment last week amounted to IDR 120.19 billion.

“The purpose of the transaction is for investment with direct share ownership status,” PTRO’s management said in a disclosure to the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on Tuesday (11/3).

With this latest transaction, KJP's ownership in PTRO increased to 42.394%, equivalent to 4,275,887,800 shares. Previously, KJP held 4,227,342,000 shares, or 41.913% of the company’s total paid-up shares.

As of 9.45 AM WIB today, Wednesday (12/3), PTRO's share price had dropped 1.25% from IDR 3,190 to IDR 3,140 per share. However, over the past five days, PTRO’s share price has risen by 1.29%. (DK/KR/ZH)
