Seen with UMA, LABA shares rise in early session

JAKARTA – PT Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) is monitoring the shares of PT Green Power Group Tbk (LABA) due to unusual market activity (UMA) in the past week.
In an information disclosure quoted on Wednesday (12/3), Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Supervision at BEI, stated that the UMA announcement does not automatically indicate a violation of capital market regulations.
Before this warning, BEI had suspended LABA shares on the regular and cash markets from August 21 and 23–30, 2024, and declared UMA status for LABA on May 6 and August 19, 2024.
Currently, BEI is closely observing the stock’s transaction pattern. Investors are advised to pay attention to the company’s response to the bourse’s request for confirmation, assess the company’s performance and information disclosures, and reconsider corporate action plans if they have not yet been approved by the General Meeting of Shareholders (GMS).
LABA shares rose by 17.33% or IDR 26 to IDR 176 per share at 10:49 AM WIB today (12/3). However, over the past five days, this issuer's shares have corrected by 20.18% or IDR 44.
In the past month, its price has dropped 25% or IDR 57 per share, while over the last six months, LABA has slumped 77.41% or IDR 569. (LK/ZH)
