Gregory Hendra Lembong officially takes the helm of BBCA

JAKARTA – The Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) has officially appointed Gregory Hendra Lembong as the new President Director.
Gregory succeeds Jahja Setiaatmadja, who now assumes the role of President Commissioner of BBCA. Jahja fills the position left by Djohan Emir Setijoso, who resigned after 25 years of serving in various key positions at BBCA.
"The appointment of Mr. Hendra Lembong as the company’s President Director will take effect on a date to be determined by the company," the management said in an official statement on Wednesday (12/3).
The AGMS also appointed John Kosasih as Vice President Director and Hendra Tanumihardja as Director.
Gregory Hendra Lembong previously served as Vice President Director of BBCA since 2022. Before joining BBCA, he held the position of Chief Transformation Officer at CIMB Niaga, Chief Fintech Officer of CIMB Group Malaysia, and CEO of Group Transaction Banking at CIMB Group Malaysia.
Additionally, Gregory Hendra Lembong has also worked with J.P. Morgan Asia Pacific, Deutsche Bank London, and Citibank.
Academically, Gregory holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington and a Master of Science in Engineering Economic Systems from Stanford University. (EF/KR/ZH)
