KAQI, UDNG, SMIL, and SOFA under UMA surveillance

JAKARTA – Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is closely monitoring the price movements of four listed companies: PT Jantra Grupo Indonesia Tbk (KAQI), PT Agro Bahari Nusantara Tbk (UDNG), PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL), and PT Boston Furniture Industries Tbk (SOFA). These stocks have shown unusual trading patterns or Unusual Market Activity (UMA).
Yulianto Aji Sadono, Head of Transaction Monitoring at IDX, stated on Monday (17/3) that the UMA announcement does not necessarily indicate a breach of capital market regulations. However, as a precaution, the IDX is urging investors to pay close attention to the companies' responses to the exchange’s request for clarification.
The IDX advises investors to carefully review each company's responses regarding the exchange's inquiry, understand the companies’ fundamentals and transparency, monitor corporate actions that have not yet received shareholder approval, and consider potential risks before making any stock transactions involving these companies.
