JAKARTA – On Monday, March 17, foreign investor transactions on the Indonesia Stock Exchange ended on a good note with a net buy. It ended with a net buy of 126.99 million shares, whereas the previous trading day's foreign transaction was a net sell transaction of 475.03 million shares.

Today's foreign buying and selling volume was lower than it was on the previous trading day, March 14. Around 2.83 billion shares were purchased by foreign buyers today, representing the total volume of foreign buys. Today, foreign investors registered a net buy of 126.99 million shares, with a sales volume (foreign sell) of 2.70 billion shares.

With 243.75 million shares, PT J Resources Asia Pasifik Tbk (PSAB) had the biggest net buy today. In this gold mining investment issuer, foreign investors purchased 286.46 million shares and sold about 42.71 million.

After foreigners purchased 85.07 million shares and sold 15 million shares, PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) shares came next, with a net buy of over 70 million shares. The firm that owns BUMI shares is a mining holding company.

A net buy of about 57 million shares was then made by mineral mining issuer PT Bumi Resources Minerals Tbk (BRMS) and oil and gas tanker issuer PT Buana Lintas Lautan Tbk (BULL). About 65 million shares were purchased by BULL's overseas investors, while about 7 million shares were sold. At the same time, BRMS's foreign buying volume was around 70.69 million, while its selling volume was approximately 14 million.

With 33.87 million shares, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) shares ultimately closed the net buy list. This renewable energy provider had 35.36 million shares purchased by foreigners and about 1.5 million shares sold.

However, with a net sell of 123.28 million shares, coal mining company PT Exploitasi Energi Indonesia Tbk (CNKO) topped the top sell list. Only 17.80 million CNKO shares were purchased by foreign investors, whereas almost 141.09 million were sold.

PT GOTO Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO) saw sales of 934.51 million shares, while the foreign purchase volume was 820.20 million shares. As a result, this digital service parent issuer's international transactions netted 114.31 million shares.

Following with net sell volumes of 70.74 million BBCA and 64.73 million BMRI were two banking firms, PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA) and PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI). Foreign investors in BBCA sold 136.40 million shares and purchased 65.65 million. After then, BMRI international investors sold about 107.67 million shares and purchased 43 million shares.

With 38.17 million shares, PT Sarana Mitra Luas Tbk (SMIL) shares are the last top seller on the list. This forklift rental issuer's foreign purchase volume was 22.35 million, while its sales volume exceeded 60 million shares. (KD)
