JAKARTA – PT AirAsia Indonesia Tbk (CMPP) has appointed Julianto Sidarto as Independent Commissioner during the company’s Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS).

Julianto Sidarto has a strong track record as a senior management advisor and member of the board of commissioners at various companies. He has also been serving as Independent Commissioner at PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) since 2018.

Julianto’s addition to CMPP will complement the current board of commissioners, which includes Ahmad Al Farouk Bin Ahmad Kamal, Reza Viryawan, and Sabam Hutajulu.

President Director of AirAsia Indonesia, Veranita Yosephine, expressed optimism that Julianto’s presence will bring fresh perspectives and strategic contributions to the company’s growth and corporate governance improvement.

“With extensive experience in management consulting, technology, and operations, his expertise will further strengthen the company’s capacity in navigating the dynamic aviation industry,” said Veranita in a press release, Tuesday (18/3).

According to IDNFinancials.com, by Q3 2024, CMPP's loss decreased by 68.34% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 875 billion to IDR 598 billion, in line with a 19.67% increase in revenue to IDR 5.90 trillion. (DK/ZH)
