JAKARTA – The new investment made by PT Chandra Asri Pacific in the real estate business PT Surya Semesta Internusa Tbk (SSIA) was noted in the list of changes in share ownership above 5% of the Indonesia Stock Exchange on Thursday, March 20. Through PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Jawa Barat Dan Banten Tbk, this investor purchased about 250.59 million SSIA shares, representing a 5.33% share chunk.

Then, through PT Bank DBS Indonesia, foreign investor Cathay Utima Investment Pte Ltd purchased 338 million shares of paper manufacturer PT Suparma Tbk (SPMA). PT Sari Bumi Indopower previously had sold these shares via PT BCA Sekuritas. Currently, Sari Bumi only owns about 7.06% of SPMA, whereas Cathay controls 49.12%.

Then, PT Elang Mahkota Teknologi Tbk, the controller of media issuer PT Surya Citra Media, acquired more than 300.75 million shares of the company. Following the acquisition through PT Mirae Asset Sekuritas Indonesia, the investor's shares increased by 63.33%.

Once more, PT Kreasi Jasa Persada purchased 12.53 million shares of PT Petrosea Tbk (PTRO), an issuer of mining and oil and gas infrastructure. PT Griyainsani Cakrasadaya then purchased 2.60 million shares of PT Mitra Keluarga Karyasehat Tbk (MIKA), a hospital operator. Currently, Griyainsani owns 64.11% of MIKA, and Kreasi Jasa owns 44.36% of PTRO.

However, through PT Ciptadana Sekuritas Asia, PT Bakrie & Brothers Tbk sold 334.15 million shares of PT VKTR Teknologi Mobilitas Tbk (VKTR). It still owns around 28.5% of this electric vehicle issuer.

This time, two individual investors also made their way into the market hints. Through PT MNC Sekuritas, Andreas Utomo sold 21.60 million shares of PT Aman Agrindo Tbk (GULA), a sugar manufacturer, leaving 15.47% of the shares. Then, Wempy sold 10.07 million shares through PT BCA Sekuritas, now owning 6.34% of the property company PT Planet Properindo Jaya Tbk (PLAN).

Lastly, 200 thousand shares of PT Asuransi Tugu Pratama Indonesia Tbk (TUGU), an insurance company, were sold by foreign investor UOB Kay Hian Private Limited. Its current share stake is 15.88%. (KD)
