JAKARTA - PT Dharma Polimetal Tbk (DRMA) is optimistic about the potential increase in the export volume of automotive components to the United States (US), following US President Donald J. Trump's plan to raise import tariffs on Mexico and other trading partner countries.

DRMA's President Director, Irianto Santoso, stated that the company is constructing three factories currently in the completion stage. The first is a factory in Plumbon, Cirebon, which is an expansion of the factory owned by their subsidiary, the joint venture Dharma Kyungshin Indonesia.

"As is known, starting in May 2024, we will begin our first exports to America, to Montgomery. On average, from May to December 2024, which is about eight months, we will export a total of 88 containers of 40 feet each. This means an average of 11 containers per month," said Irianto Santoso during the "Meet The CEO" event, a special interview program by IDNFinancials.com in collaboration with Suara.com, on Tuesday (March 25).

During the event, Irianto Santoso was interviewed by Luther Kembaren, Editor of IDNFinancials.com (left), and Ria Rizki Nirmala Sari, Editor of Suara.com (right).
