PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA) is engaged in business related to multimedia services; including free to air television stations (SCTV, Indosiar, and SCP) and subscription (Nex Parabola); film and video production and distribution, film and content trading, production houses, multimedia industry, studio infrastructure and equipment, event organiser, market activation and artist management. The company was established in 1999 under the name PT Cipta Aneka Selaras which changed to PT Surya Citra Media 2 years later. In 2002, it took over the shares of PT Surya Citra Televisi (SCTV), commenced commercial operations, and went IPO. It also merged with PT Indosiar Karya Mandiri Tbk (IDKM) in 2013. The company continues to develop its business by establishing a sub-holding company to create content and manage production houses, as well as by acquiring shares from other companies engaged in entertainment and multimedia sector.
