PT Surya Toto Indonesia Tbk (TOTO) manufactures sanitary products, fittings, kitchen system, and accessories for those related products. It was established in July 1977, under the name CV Surya, as a joint venture with Toto Ltd, Japan. The sanitary product factory has been operating since 1978. Its products has been marketed to international market since 1980. Then, in 1985, the company set up a factory to manufacture fitting products, such as faucets and showers. TOTO went IPO in 1990. Along with its success, it built more factories and developed their equipment. In 2006, it merged with PT Surya Pertiwi Paramita, a subsidiary, to expand its business segment to kitchen system products and accessories.
