Multi Medika to build a distribution centre in BSD and PIK 2
JAKARTA – PT Multi Medika Internasional Tbk (MMIX) will establish a distribution centre and a licensed intellectual property (IP) product logistic facility in Bumi Serpong Damai (BSD), South Tangerang and Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK) 2, North Jakarta.
Said plan is mentioned in the prospectus of the company quoted Monday (16/1). The distribution centre expansion in BSD will commence this year, while the one in PIK will begin in 2023. The company allocates IDR 38 billion for this plan, 35% of which originates from the net proceeds of the initial public offering (IPO) in December 2022 of IDR 108.59 billion.
As of now, MMIX has realised the IPO proceeds of IDR 20.66 billion for the purchase of commerce goods and covering operational costs. The remaining IDR 87.93 billion, deposited in a bank, is allocated for operational expenditure, as well as the establishment of the distribution and logistics centres.
MMIX is known to conduct its IPO by issuing 600 million shares for IDR 190 each, totalling to IDR 114 billion. (LK/ZH)
