JAKARTA. PT Jobubu Jarum Minahasa Tbk (BEER) is targeting to attain up to 50% growth in revenue and net profit this year, supported by even distribution of products in rural areas, as well as the promising niche market of alcoholic beverages in Indonesia.

Fransiskus Xaverius Teguh Hendarto, Director of Finance of BEER, claimed that the revenue and net profit growth will be attainable through the launching of new products. One of them includes Daebak Spark, an alcoholic beverage falling under category A with a maximum alcohol content of 5%.

“Daebak Spark is expected to increase BEER’s sales by up to fivefold,” Hendarto stated.

Meanwhile, Audy Charles Lieke, President Director of BEER, revealed that Daebak Spark has obtained license from Indonesian FDA (BPOM). The beverage will have two flavor variants, Blood Orange and Iced Lemon Tea.

“Daebak Spark excels in its bold and refreshing flavor as it is made from fermented fruit and natural sweetener. It is also low in calories,” Lieke further explained in the official release.

In order to boost the new product sales, BEER has collaborated with 1,000 supermarkets in Bali. In the future, BEER plans to distribute said product across Java, utilizing the proceeds of its IPO. (KR/ZH)
