JAKARTA – PT Bank OCBC NISP Tbk (NISP) managed to report a 14.35% year-on-year (yoy) increase in its net interest and sharia income, arriving at IDR 8.74 trillion in 2022 from IDR 7.64 trillion in 2021.

According to the Annual Financial Report of 2022 of NISP quoted today (2/2), Parwati Surjaudaja, President Director of Bank OCBC NISP, claimed that this achievement was supported by increases of net interest income and net sharia income of IDR 12.22 trillion and IDR 488 billion. On the other hand, interest and sharia expenses reportedly reached IDR 3.79 trillion and IDR 176.45 billion.

Its operating revenue actually shrank annually from IDR 2.05 trillion to IDR 1.86 trillion. However, its net profit remained strong, growing 32.03% yoy from IDR 2.51 trillion to IDR 3.32 trillion. (LK/ZH)
