JAKARTA – A subsidiary of PT Digital Mediatama Maxima Tbk (DMMX) works with Madura United FC to introduce Madura United E-Sports. This collaboration is expected to diversify its digital content.

Arza Satria Djatmika, Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PT Edukasi Atlit Internet Digital (EAID), DMMX’s subsidiary in question, claims that the establishment of Madura United E-Sports will help to prepare players in both domestic and international scenes. “Through our development and training programs for e-sports skills,” he added in the information disclosure quoted Monday (6/2).

According to Djatmika, establishing this e-sport club could hopefully demonstrate how e-sport is a career-worthy field.

On the other hand, Annisa Zhafarina, CEO of Madura United FC, mentioned that this club is intended to gain acknowledgment from communities in Madura regarding e-sports. “This collaboration will lead Madura United to triumph in professional soccer field, as well as e-sports field,” she explained.

Madura United FC is owned by Achsanul Qosasi, a politician from Demokrat Fraction, who is currently taking position as a member of the Indonesian Audit Board (lit. Badan Pemeriksa Keuangan/BPK). (LK/ZH)
