JAKARTA – The shares of PT Bank Syariah Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BRIS) were the most sought-after stock in yesterday's (15/2) transaction. The net foreign reportedly reached 25.15 million shares, following its positive performance seen in its annual report.

Based on the data collected by IDNFinancials on Thursday (16/2), the foreign buy and sell of BRIS were seen arriving at 37.60 million and 12.44 million shares. The hesitancy to sell BRIS's shares is believed to increase as BRIS recorded profit of IDR 5.64 trillion in 2022 from IDR 4.06 trillion in 2021.

BRIS's shares were closed at the highest price of IDR 1,610 per share, after booking the lowest price of IDR 1,370 per share. The number of traded shares clocked up to 262.13 million units within 37,195 transactions, boasting a total value of IDR 394.34 billion.

In the second place, PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) recorded net foreign of 22.73 million shares, resulting from its foreign buy and sell of 63.64 million and 40.91 million shares, respectively.

It was closed at IDR 4,870 per share, right above the lowest price level during the trading session. The volume of traded shares reached 107.13 million in 12,057 transactions, booking a total value of IDR 519.57 billion. (LK/ZH)
