JAKARTA – The revenue of PT XL Axiata Tbk (EXCL) reportedly grew 8.92% in 2022 to IDR 29.14 trillion from IDR 26.75 trillion seen in 2021.

Quoted from the 2022 Financial Report of EXCL published today (20/2), Dian Siswarini, President Director of XL Axiata, claimed that the top contributor to the revenue in 2022 was the GSM mobile and telecommunication network services of IDR 28.96 trillion. It soared from IDR 26.76 trillion seen in 2021. Then, the managed service and information technology segment, a new business line, contributed IDR 211.23 billion.

However, its current year’s net profit reached IDR 1.21 trillion, declining from IDR 1.28 trillion in 2021. The slight downturn resulted from increases in interconnection and direct expenses, salaries and benefits of employees, as well as general and administrative expenses. (LK/ZH)
