JAKARTA – The shares of PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) slightly climbs to IDR 142 per share during last week’s (17/2) closing bell. Investors were seen holding on to their shares while waiting for an even more significant price increase.

Based on the data compiled by IDNFinancials today (20/2), BUMI recorded net foreign of 163.39 million. The number resulted from investors’ hesitance in selling off the shares following the trend of price increase.

The mass buy of BUMI’s shares was apparent from the high foreign buy of 280.30 million shares, whereas the foreign sell only hit 116.91 million shares or 41.7% of total foreign buy.

Approximately 537.74 million units of shares were being transacted in 5,377 times of transaction, boasting a total value of IDR 76.27 billion. BUMI’s stock price hit the peak at IDR 144 per share and the lowest at IDR 139 per share.

The price was slightly higher than the day before, on February 16, 2023. BUMI’s stock price was closed at IDR 141 after peaking at IDR 148 and dropping to IDR 140 per share. At that day, the transaction value reached IDR 70.81 billion, while the volume clocked up to 496.74 million in 7,955 times of transaction. (LK/ZH)
