Nusantara Infrastructure eyes 10.6% toll road revenue growth
JAKARTA. PT Nusantara Infrastructure Tbk (META) has intended for its revenue from the toll road business segment in the first half (H1) of 2023 to grow 10.6% from the same period last week.
Indah D. P. Pertiwi, Head of Corporate Communications of META, claimed that said target aligns with the company’s plan to restore the operation of the Pondok Aren-Serpong Toll Road, also known as BSD Toll Road. “The construction has been started since March 11, 2022, and it is expected to start operating in Q2 2023,” she added.
So far, according to Pertiwi, META has spent IDR 541 billion on fixing the damaged road due to flood and ground movement. The restoration includes road heightening so that drivers are not affected by flood during rainy season.
According to IDNFinancials data, META booked IDR 602.15 billion of revenue until September 30, 2022. The toll road business segment contributed IDR 426.21 billion, followed by the electricity sales of IDR 122.59 billion, clean water distribution of IDR 50.89 billion, and management services of IDR 2.5 billion.
