JAKARTA – The investors agreed upon the plan of PT Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur Tbk (BIPI) to seek additional capital via a private placement.

Kurniawati Budiman, Corporate Secretary of Astrindo Nusantara Infrastruktur, mentioned that this plan had been granted approval during the Extraordinary General Shareholders Meeting yesterday (23/2). “The company will issue a maximum of 5.79 billion series A shares or 10% of the entire issued and paid-up capital of the company,” Budiman specified in the information disclosure quoted Monday (27/2).

The offering price for the shares is set to at least 90% of the average closing price within the past 25 active trading days prior to the listing of private placement shares.

Until January 31, 2023, BIPI’s shares reportedly clock up to 57.91 billion shares, 21.33% of which belong to PT Indotamba, while public investors collectively hold another 78,67%.

Assuming that the private placement will use the last week’s (24/2) closing price of IDR 154 per share, BIPI might gain IDR 891.94 billion from this corporate action. (LK/ZH)
