JAKARTA – PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) secures domestic investment from the government worth IDR 1.40 trillion to help the company taking on the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo Toll Road project.

Sri Mulyani Indrawati, Minister of Finance, claimed that this domestic investment is given according to the instruction of the President, Joko Widodo, which states the need to focus on completion of national strategic projects. “Adhi Karya secures domestic investments worth IDR 1.40 trillion. It needs to have a contract regarding the project, both the location and the budget, so that [we], along with the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprise could do some monitoring,” she thoroughly explained during the inspection of the Solo-Yogyakarta-Kulonprogo Toll Toad in Colomandi, Karanganyar, earlier today (27/2).

According to Indrawati, the Ministry of Finance, as the manager of State Budget, is committed to support the accelerated completion of national strategic projects that are vital for the masses. Other supportive initiatives are shown through land bank supply by the State Assets Management Agency (lit. Lembaga Manajemen Aset Negara/LAMN) of the Public Service Agency of Ministry of Finance.

The government is known to have allocated IDR 5.90 trillion to buy off the land for the toll road project. As of now, for the total 106 national strategic projects, the government had prepared a total budget of IDR 106.5 trillion for the condemnation. (LK/ZH)
