JAKARTA - The profit of PT Pelat Timah Nusantara/Latinusa Tbk (NIKL) grew 21.57% to US$ 7.12 million in 2022 as revenue increased by 21.16%. In 2021, the company's profit was recorded at US$ 5.86 million.

As quoted from the 2022 Financial Report which was published on Tuesday (28/2), Jetrinaldi, President Director of PT Latinusa Tbk (NIKL) said that revenue increased to US$ 255.34 million from US$ 210.73 million in 2021 and gross profit of US$ 19.59 million, up from US$ 19.32 million. Profit before tax was recorded at US$ 9.15 million, lower than US$ 11.09 million due to increases in finance costs, loss on foreign exchange and other expenses.

The main revenue comes from the domestic market. During the same period last year, exports to Italy and India still contributed US$ 1.41 million to revenue. Domestic customers with a contribution of more than 10% to revenue include PT Indonesia Multi Color Printing 23%, PT United Can 17%, and Iwan Loekantoro Laksmono 13%. (LK/LM)
