JAKARTA. PT Multipolar Technology Tbk. (MLPT), an issuer under Lippo Group, posted the current year’s net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 559 billion in 2022. It soared 115.67% year-on-year (yoy) from IDR 259.19 billion in 2021.

Based on the financial report as of December 31, 2022, the profit was gained from divestment of subsidiaries, generating IDR 186.76 billion, and investment property sales worth IDR 123.34 billion in 2022. In 2021, the company did not receive any income from these sources.

Meanwhile, in 2022, the company collected revenue of IDR 3.44 trillion, 14.88% higher from IDR 2.99 trillion in 2021. As the revenue grew, the cost of sales also grew 12.34% yoy from IDR 2.55 trillion to IDR 2.87 trillion. Furthermore, its selling expenses, as well as general and administrative expenses also swelled. In the end, MLPT still managed to raise its operating profit from IDR 282.59 billion to IDR 321.41 billion.

Then, its total assets were down to IDR 2.72 trillion from IDR 3 trillion recorded at the end of 2021. Meanwhile, its liabilities were seen decreasing from IDR 2.04 trillion to IDR 1.89 trillion in 2022. Similarly, the equity also declined from IDR 956.77 billion to IDR 824.42 billion in 2022. (AM/ZH)
