JAKARTA – PT Golden Prima Maritim (GPM), a subsidiary of PT Sillo Maritime Perdana Tbk (SHIP) secures a loan of USD 49.32 million from PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI).

Herjati, President Director of Sillo Maritime Perdana, confirmed that the facility will be utilised to purchase one unit of vessel. “The tenor of this facility is agreed to 115 months,” she added in the information disclosure quoted Monday (20/3).

GPM is known to have plans of acquiring one unit of Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) tanker of 145 thousand cubic metres (m3) named Golden Isaia, ex-Methane Shirley Elisabeth. The budget for this LNG tanker purchase is set to 65% of the total capital expenditure (capex) budget of 2022, which amounts to USD 100 million. The new vessel purchase is projected to boost 10% of SHIP’s revenue.

On November 10, 2022, SHIP acquired a loan facility of USD 32.5 million from BMRI for funding the vessel docking and covering other general purposes. (LK/ZH)
