JAKARTA. At least 26% of new contracts obtained by PT Waskita Beton Precast Tbk (WSBP) until February 2023, amounting to IDR 358 billion, originate from PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.

Bambang Dwi Wijayanto, Director of Engineering & Development of WSBP, confirmed that until February 2023, his company managed to secure new contracts worth IDR 358 billion. Approximately 74% of those came from external market projects.

“Currently, there are still many projects undergoing the procurement tender process,” Wijayanto mentioned in the official disclosure today (21/3). “Until today, WSBP is currently joining project and procurement tenders with a total value of IDR 2.9 trillion,” he added. In 2023, WSBP aims to secure IDR 3.8 trillion worth of new contracts, 100%-150% higher than the new contracts realisation in 2022 of IDR 1.53 trillion.

Wijayanto said that in order to obtain new contracts, his company will set a minimum profit margin target for each contract from each business line. WSBP sets the gross profit margin to reach 12%-15%, supported by all business lines, including precast manufacturing, ready-mix, and construction services. (AM/ZH)
