JAKARTA – PT Fajar Surya Wisesa Tbk (FASW) will distribute cash dividend of IDR 55.99 billion from the 2022 net profit on April 20, 2023. However, just as the net profit shrank from 2021, the amount of this upcoming dividend is also way below last year’s dividend of IDR 294.86 billion.

In the information disclosure quoted Friday (24/3), the dividend distribution was based on the net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 119.92 billion, retained earnings of IDR 2.49 trillion, and total equity of IDR 5.01 trillion.

The dividend is equal to approximately IDR 23 per share, which will be disbursed to the investors that have been listed as official shareholders as of April 3, 2023. The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market is set to March 30 and 31, 2023, followed by the cum and ex dividend in the cash market on April 3-4, 2023. The plan of this dividend distribution was made official during the Annual General Shareholders Meeting earlier this week (20/3).

Last year, the issuer allocates 47.95% of the 2021 net profit worth IDR 614.92 billion as dividend, equivalent to IDR 119 per share. The remaining IDR 319.85 billion is then allocated to the working capital for business expansion. (LK/ZH)
