AMOR will buyback up to 5 million share
JAKARTA. PT Ashmore Asset Management Tbk (AMOR), an investment management company that has been operating since 2010, will carry out a share buyback.
Lydia Toisuta, Corporate Secretary of AMOR, said that this corporate action is a continuation of the share buyback that was carried out by the company from 1 November 2022 to 31 January 2023 yesterday. The follow-up buyback is scheduled to take place from March 27 to June 24, 2023.
"The costs that will be incurred for the implementation of the share buyback are up to IDR 6.8 billion, including brokerage fees and other costs," said Toisuta, through an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
With the prepared budget, the maximum number of AMOR shares that will be bought back is 5 million shares. "A maximum of 0.2% of the capital that has been placed and paid up in the company," said Toisuta.
According to data from idnfinancials.com, today's AMOR share price is stagnant at the level of IDR 1,070 per share. In the past year, AMOR's share price fell 36.12% or 605 points. (KR/LM)
