JAKARTA - PT Modis Cipta Kreasi divested 2.48% of its portion in PT Wahana Inti Makmur Tbk (NASI) in a transaction last week (27/3).

Piero Mustafa, President Director of NASI, claimed that the divestiture of Modis's shares is intended to boost the financial performance of the company. "The number of shares involved in the transaction is 20 million units of IDR 60 each," he said in the information disclosure quoted Monday (3/4).

Once calculated, the total transaction value of Modis reaches IDR 1.2 billion.

Post-transaction, Modis's portion in NASI is down to 226.08 million units or approximately 28% of total 807.40 million shares. Initially it had 246.08 million shares or 30.48%.

Until February 28, 2023, NASI's shareholders consisted of Piero Mustafa of 42.24%, PT Wahana Kreasi of 2.3%, and public investors of 24.88%. (LK/ZH)
