JAKARTA – PT Sejahteraraya Anugrahjaya Tbk (SRAJ), the managing company of Mayapada Hospital network, posted a net loss of IDR 44.18 billion in 2022. It resulted from higher direct expenses amid stable income.

In the Financial Report of 2022 quoted Wednesday (5/4), Grace Dewi Riady, President Director of SRAJ, mentioned that the revenue was recorded at IDR 1.93 trillion, relatively unchanged from IDR 1.92 trillion in 2021.

The inpatient care segment and its supporting services reportedly brought in IDR 1.24 trillion of revenue, while outpatient care and its supporting services generated IDR 690.10 billion. In 2021, the revenue from the inpatient and supporting service segment was IDR 955.25 billion, and the outpatient and supporting service segment was IDR 969.19 billion.

The gross profit declined from IDR 705.03 billion in 2021 to IDR 557.05 billion in 2022, following the increase in its direct expenses. The direct expenses took up 71.19% of the revenue, higher than the initial percentage of 63.33%. Lastly, its operating profit also shrank massively from IDR 226.48 billion to IDR 31.01 billion.
