INKP to increase subsidiary’s capital by IDR 9.8 billion
JAKARTA. PT Indah Kiat Pulp & Paper Tbk (INKP), a pulp and paper manufacturer, has increased its investment to one of its subsidiaries, PT Graha Kemasindo Indah (GKI).
Heri Santoso, Director of INKP, claimed that the additional capital injected by the company to GKI amounts to IDR 9.8 billion. This extra capital was granted through the company’s issued and paid-up capital increase.
Prior to this, the issued and paid-up capital of GKI clocked up to IDR 200 million, consisting of 200 units of shares. After the increase, the company will gain a total of 10,000 shares worth a total of IDR 10 billion.
This capital raise will not change the structure of GKI’s shareholders. INKP will still be the owner of 99.9% of GKI’s shares, leaving the remainder to PT Purinusa Ekapersada.
“The increase of authorised capital, as well as issued and paid-up capital, of GKI will not significantly affect the company’s financial condition,” Santoso added. (KR/ZH)
