Cashlez pockets IDR 20 billion loan facility from shareholders
JAKARTA. PT Cashlez Worldwide Indonesia Tbk (CASH) has obtained a loan facility from shareholders worth IDR 20 billion.
Irianto Kusumadjaja, President Director of CASH, said that the loan facility came from PT Bara Alam Utama (BAU). In his official statement, Kusumadjaja said that BAU is the main and controlling shareholder of the company.
Loan funds obtained by CASH from BAU will be used as working capital. For the record, the acquisition of this loan is not included in the category of material transactions because its value is only 10.84% of the company's total equity.
The loan facility received by CASH has a tenor of 12 months, starting from the signing of the loan agreement. "Interest on this loan is charged at 8% per year," said Kusumadjaja.
According to idnfinancials.com data, CASH only had cash and cash equivalents of IDR 9.52 billion as of 31 December 2022. The company's total assets were recorded at IDR 225.5 billion, while its total equity was IDR 184.55 billion. (KR/LM)
