JAKARTA - PT Semen Baturaja Tbk (SMBR) will channel out cash dividend of IDR 18.96 billion from its net profit gained in 2022. Last year, the company abstained from dividend distribution despite profiting IDR 51.81 billion in 2021.

Basthony Santri, Corporate Secretary of Semen Baturaja, said that the dividend will be disbursed to its shareholders that have entered the official list by the recording date on May 19. The dividend, equal to IDR 1.90 per share, will be disbursed on June 9, 2023. 

The dividend allocation is set based on the net profit attributable to the parent entity of IDR 94.82 billion, retained earnings of IDR 75.86 billion, and total equity of IDR 3.08 trillion.

The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market has been set to May 16-17, followed by the cum and ex dividend in the cash market on May 19-22.

For the record, in 2021, SMBR chose to allocate the entire net profit as general reserves. (LK/ZH)
