JAKARTA – PT Ulima Nitra Tbk (UNIQ) recorded 30% stock price increase at the end of yesterday’s (22/5) trading. This surge successfully stripped PT Saptausaha Gemilangindah Tbk (SAGE) off from its top gainer title recorded last week (19/5).

The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) data compiled by IDNFinancials today (23/5), UNIQ’s price was closed at IDR 78, IDR 18 higher than the closing price seen last week of IDR 60 per share. The traded shares clocked up to 65.43 million units, all recorded within 5,761 transactions worth IDR 4.80 billion.

The price surge also managed to rouse investors to collect temporary gains, recording foreign sell of 1.72 million and foreign buy of 1.23 million shares. Last week, it failed to gain traction from foreign investors.

At the runner-up position, sat PT Mitra Energi Perkasa Tbk (KOPI), recording 24.71% increase in its stock price or IDR 86 jump. It was closed at IDR 434 per share during the closing bell, moving up from IDR 348 per share seen last week. The volume of traded shares reached 163,800 units, recorded within 151 transactions worth IDR 69.81 million. (LK/ZH)
