JAKARTA - PT Mitra Energi Persada Tbk (KOPI) secured the top position at the gainers list after 25% stock price increase during yesterday's (24/5) transaction in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This issuer managed to remove PT Victoria Investama Tbk (VICO) from its Top Gainer title last Tuesday.

The IDX data compiled by IDNFinancials today (25/5), KOPI's stock price was closed at IDR 675, shifting IDR 135 higher from IDR 540 per share seen during previous closing bell. It continued to increase, after the positive trend of increasing stock price from IDR 106 per share recorded earlier this week.

The traded shares clocked up to 932 million, all recorded within 427 transactions worth a total of IDR 622.01 million. The foreign sell and buy was recorded at 17,200 and 18,600 shares, respectively. The numbers in both foreign transactions were higher than their previous records of 5,500 shares and 1,600 shares.

At the runner-up position, sat PT PAM Mineral Tbk (NICL) whose stock price went up by 24.79% to IDR 292, shifting IDR 58 from IDR 234 per share seen last Tuesday. The transaction value was totalled to IDR 32.19 billion, involving 119.19 million shares recorded in 11,523 transactions. (LK/ZH)
