JAKARTA. PT TBS Energi Utama Tbk (TOBA), a coal mining company and the operator of an independent power plant, announces the plan to distribute cash dividend of USD 6.9 million, which will be taken out of the 2022 net profit.

This plan is in line with the result of the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) held on June 8, 2023. In said meeting, the shareholders agreed to allocate 11.9% of the 2022 net profit as cash dividend.

The cash dividend is distributed to rightful investors, whose names have been listed by the recording date on June 20, 2023. The cash dividend will be disbursed on July 12, 2023.

According to IDNFinancials data, TOBA scored USD 57.82 million of net profit in 2022. At the end of 2023, the company also held onto retained earnings of USD 251.63 million and total equity worth USD 423.71 million.

As of now, 61.91% of TOBA’s shares is controlled by Highland Strategic Holdings Pte Ltd. PT Toba Sejahtera also claims another 10%, followed by Bintang Bara B.V. of 8.75%, PT Bara Makmur Abadi of 5.55%, PT Sinergi Sukses Utama of 4.06%, and public investors of 9.73%. (KR/ZH)
