Profit slowing down, KOBX’s dividend still increases
JAKARTA – Although the performance in 2022 slowed down, PT Kobexindo Tractors Tbk (KOBX) still plans to channel out cash dividend this year. The rightful investors will receive dividend of IDR 10 per share, higher than IDR 9 per share in 2021.
The data compiled by IDNFinancials today (15/6) reveals that the shareholders of KOBX agreed upon the allocation of dividend of IDR 22.72 billion from the net profit in 2022 of USD 4.24 million. Then, another IDR 100 million will be stored as reserve funds, leaving the rest of it as retained earnings.
KOBX managed to book net profit in 2021 of USD 13.54 million, USD 1.43 of which was allocated as cash dividend. It was equal to IDR 20.45 billion using the exchange rate of IDR 14,269 per USD. Then, another USD 27,865, which was equal to IDR 397.60 million, was allocated as reserve funds, leaving the remaining portion as retained earnings.
KOBX’s revenue has been increasing for the past three years. In 2020, its revenue was recorded USD 50.96 million, before rising to USD 119.32 million in 2021 and USD 168.52 million in 2022. The heavy equipment sales covered 43.05% of the total revenue in 2022.
Until May 2023, its shares clocked up to 2.72 billion units. The shareholders consisted of PT Kobexindo Investama of 89.45% and the public of 10.55%. (LK/ZH)
