JAKARTA. PT Adhi Karya (Persero) Tbk (ADHI) has declared its willingness, through a letter of commitment, to guarantee 51% of the syndicated loan received by one of its subsidiaries, PT Dumai Tirta Persada Tbk (DTP).

Farid Budiyanto, Corporate Secretary of ADHI, mentioned that this syndicated loan facility is led by PT Indonesia Infrastructure Fund (Persero) and PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero). The loan facility amounts to IDR 325 billion, equipped with a 15-year tenor.

On top of the letter of commitment, ADHI will also put in 12,750 units of DTP's shares as collateral, which are equal to 51% of DTP's issued and paid-up capital owned by the company.

Budiyanto further mentioned that this syndicated loan facility is required to expand the projects handled by DTP, such as Private-Public Partnership Project of Dumai City. Next, ADHI will provide support for DTP through capital injection.

"One of the requirements set by the creditors in granting the facility to DTP is the support of the company (ADHI) as the major shareholder," Budiyanto explained. (KR/ZH)
