JAKARTA. PT Surya Fajar Capital Tbk (SFAN) had injected extra capital of IDR 10 billion to PT Mareco Prima Mandiri (MPM) through another subsidiary, PT Digitalisasi Perangkat Indonesia (DPI).

Marianto, Corporate Secretary of SFAN, said that this additional capital is intended to be given as a form of support towards MPM to meet its working capital needs. “So that the company could still operate according to applicable regulation and provisions and provide services to stakeholders that utilise MPM’s services as well as possible,” Marianto mentioned in the information disclosure.

With this capital injection, DPI’s portion in MPM grows to 99.10% from the initial 98.37%.

According to IDNFinancials data, MPM is a company engaged in the financial technology (fintech) sector. MPM’s total assets as of March 31, 2023, were recorded at IDR 3.94 billion.

On the other side of the transaction, DPI is a company engaged in the management consultancy industry. As of March 31, 2023, DPI recorded total assets before elimination of IDR 16.24 billion. (KR/ZH)
