Skipped a year, Woori Finance back to share IDR 10.37 billion of dividend
JAKARTA - PT Woori Finance Indonesia Tbk (BPFI) will distribute cash dividend of IDR 10.37 billion from the net profit in the fiscal year 2022. Last year, the issuer abstained from giving out dividend to its shareholders.
Risma Dumawaty Sianipar, Corporate Secretary of Woori Finance Indonesia (BPFI), mentions that the company will issue dividend of IDR 3.88 per share on August 2, 2023, to its rightful investors based on the Official Register of Shareholders by the recording date on July 13. The cum and ex dividend in the regular and negotiation market will be set to July 10-11, followed by the cum and ex dividend in the cash market on July 12-13.
The net profit attributable to the parent entity was recorded at IDR 51.89 billion, while its retained earnings reached IDR 489.87 billion, and total equity IDR 980.53 billion.
Last year, BPFI did not channel out any dividend from the net profit in the fiscal year 2021. The entire profit, amounting to IDR 45.92 billion, was allocated as retained earnings to enhance its working capital. (LK/ZH)
