Lacking enthusiasm, SLIS sets rights issue to IDR 168 per share
JAKARTA. PT Gaya Abadi Sempurna Tbk (SLIS), the manufacturer of Selis electric bikes, has set the offering price for the rights issue to IDR 168 per share.
According to IDNFinancials, the rights issue, or capital increase with pre-emptive rights, has been planned by SLIS since 2022. The company also obtained approval from shareholders earlier this January.
The number of shares issued in this corporate action is 2 billion shares, equal to 50% of the entire issued and paid-up capital after rights issue. Each old share is entitled to one pre-emptive rights, in which each pre-emptive right will grant the holder one new share of the company.
Selis Investama Indonesia, the controller of 56.25% of the company’s shares, announces its decision not to exercise its entire rights over new shares issued in SLIS’s rights issue. Meanwhile, Tjoa King Hoa, President Commissioner and Ultimate Beneficiary Owner of the company, declares his willingness in exercising his entire pre-emptive rights.
Should there be any remaining unexercised rights by other shareholders, SLIS will not issue those shares from the portfolio.
The distribution of pre-emptive rights is scheduled to take place on July 12, 2023, while the new shares will be listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) on July 13, 2023. (KR/ZH)
