BRI Finance issues IDR 500 billion bonds
JAKARTA - PT BRI Multifinance Indonesia (BRI Finance) is currently offering bonds worth IDR 500 billion. These bonds were issued in Series A of IDR 197 billion and Series B of IDR 303 billion.
In the disclosure published on Thursday (6/7), interest for Series A bonds is set at 5.85% per year for 370 days and Series B at 6.40% per year for a period of three years. This bond is guaranteed in full commitment by PT BRI Danareksa Sekuritas and PT BCA Sekuritas, with PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBNI) as trustee.
The proceeds from the bond issuance will be fully used to strengthen capital, especially for the expansion of multipurpose financing. As of December 2022, BRI Finance recorded IDR 1.49 trillion in finance lease receivables, IDR 56.80 billion in factoring receivables, and IDR 4.91 trillion in consumer financing receivables.
This company collected IDR 890.58 billion in revenue, which came from Finance Leases of IDR 195.96 billion, Factoring of IDR 12.09 billion, Consumer Financing of IDR 486.89 billion, Operating Leases of IDR 163.51 billion, Interest of IDR 5.41 billion, and other revenues of IDR 26.69 billion.
BRI Finance received an IdAA (double A) rating from PT Rating Agency Indonesia (Pefindo). (LK/LM)
