JAKARTA – The name modification of the controlling shareholder of PT Asuransi Bina Dana Arta Tbk (ABDA) has been made official, now titled Oona Indonesia Pte Ltd, from the initial Oona Insurance Pte Ltd.

Liani Chandra, Director of ABDA, confirmed that the modification of the name of the controller of ABDA was made official last Tuesday (18/7). “The modification of the controller’s name does not affect the operational and financial condition of the company,” Chandra stated in the information disclosure quoted Friday (21/7).

As of June 2023, Oona Insurance is listed as the owner of 94.77% of the total 620.80 million shares of ABDA, while the public has another 5.06%.

On February 15, 2023, Oona Insurance Pte Ltd has been named as ABDA’s controlling shareholder, replacing Aseana Pte Ltd. This change also entailed the modification of ABDA logo to the logo of Oona Insurance Pte Ltd. (LK/ZH)
