JAKARTA – The operating revenue of  PT Bank Permata Tbk (BNLI) reportedly increased 16.64% in the first half of 2023, compared to the same period in 2022. However, its profit was corrected 1.60%.

The H1 2023 Financial Report quoted Thursday (3/8) shows that the company managed to collect operating revenue of IDR 5.77 trillion, shifting from IDR 4.95 trillion seen in the same period last year.

The operating revenue in H1 2023 consists of interest and sharia income of IDR 4.73 trillion, fees and commissions of IDR 733.46 billion, transaction income of IDR 192.27 billion, gains of security sales for investment of IDR 16.78 billion, and other operating income of IDR 99.84 billion.

In the first half of 2022, the interest and sharia income clocked up to IDR 4.11 trillion, while fees and commissions brought in IDR 738.92 billion, and other operating revenue contributed IDR 97.20 billion.

The profit before income tax reached IDR 1.81 trillion in H1 2023, weakening from IDR 1.84 trillion in H1 2022. The net profit also slipped down from IDR 1.42 trillion to IDR 1.40 trillion in H1 2022. (LK/ZH)
