JAKARTA. PT AKR Corporindo Tbk (AKRA) has channelled an extra capital of IDR 96 billion to one of its subsidiaries, PT Andahanesa Abadi (AA).

Suresh Vembu, Director & Corporate Secretary of AKRA, said that this additional capital is granted to increase AA’s issued and paid-up capital. In this capital raise, the company fully partakes by injecting capital.

Previously, AA’s issued and paid-up capital was only IDR 109.95 billion. After this added capital, its issued and paid-up capital rises to IDR 205.95 billion.

According to IDNFinancials data, AA is a business entity under AKRA that is engaged in the logistics service. Until December 31, 2022, AA was said to record total assets before elimination of IDR 384.89 billion.

Meanwhile, AKRA also held onto its cash and cash equivalent of IDR 4.34 trillion at the end of December 2022. Its total assets clocked up to IDR 15.84 trillion, while its total equity was worth IDR 13.15 billion. (KR/ZH)
