JAKARTA. PT Delta Dunia Makmur Tbk (DOID), a coal mining issuer, has ended the share buyback extension period which is planned to last for the next 3 months.

Dian Sofia Andyasuri, Director of DOID, said the cancellation of the buyback was due to market conditions that fluctuated significantly. "Therefore, the buyback of the company's shares and the company's disclosure of information dated July 31, 2023 were canceled," said Andyasuri, in an information disclosure on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).

Nonetheless, DOID has carried out a buyback of 26.43 million shares during August 1-4 2023. This is equivalent to 1.53% of the number of company shares to be bought back.

All of these shares were purchased at an average price of IDR 390.87 per share. Purchases were made at the lowest price of IDR 382.67 and the highest price of IDR 395.66.

According to idnfinancials.com data, DOID had cash and cash equivalents of US$123.79 million as of March 31 2023. The company's total assets were US$1.55 million and total equity was US$252.23 million. (KR/LM)
