JCI strengthens during first session
JAKARTA – Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) soared 0.24% as of 9.40 AM WIB today (9/8). The index was reported at 6,885.39, increasing from 6,882.12 at 9 AM WIB.
The BEI data compiled by IDNFinancials today (9/8), JCI’s positive trend is also reflected on other indexes, including LQ45 that rose 0.26% to 964.381, IDX30 0.26% to 500.981, IDX80 0.19% to 132.965.
Several stocks that were seen increasing are PT Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (ALKA), PT Alumindo Light Metal Industry Tbk (ALMI), PT Asuransi Multi Artha Graha Tbk (AMAG), PT Makmur Berkah Amanda Tbk (AMAN), PT Asahimas Flat Gasss Tbk (AMFG), PT Ashmore Asset Management Indonesia Tbk, and PT Sumber Alfaria Trijaya Tbk (AMRT).
On the contrary, several others were seen declining, including PT Apexindo Pratama Duta Tbk (APEX), PT Agung Podomoro Land Tbk (APLN), PT Avia Avian Tbk (AVIA), PT Bank Aladin Syariah Tbk (BANK), and PT Allo Bank Indonesia Tbk (BBHI).
Yesterday (8/8), JCI was closed at 6,869.813, corrected 0.25% from 6,886.366. The number of traded shares clocked up to 181.19 billion shares, recorded within 1.12 million transactions worth IDR 8.9 trillion. (LK/ZH)
