Sumber Global Energy secures new coal transport contract to Vietnam
JAKARTA. PT Sumber Global Energy Tbk (SGER), a coal mining trader publicly listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) since 2020, has obtained a new contract to supply coals to Vietnam.
Michael Harold, Corporate Secretary of SGER, revealed that this new contract is obtained from Vosco Maritime Service Joint Stock Company. This new contract was received by the company on August 9, 2023, yesterday.
"The volume of this contract reaches 840,000 metric tons (MT)," Harold said in the information disclosure.
According to IDNFinancials record, this year, SGER aims for a conservative coal sales volume growth of 10% to 15%. For the record, the sales volume of coals in 2022 was recorded at 7.4 million tons.
In other words, with said target set for this year, SGER will boost its coal sales volume up to 8.51 million ton. Up until the first quarter of 2023, the sales volume of coals of SGER had reached 2.5 million tons. (KR/ZH)
