JAKARTA - PT Humpuss Maritim Internasional Tbk (HUMI) remained as the top gainers for two consecutive days in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) last Friday (18/8). It increased 31%, a smaller surge compared to last Wednesday (16/8).

According to IDX data quoted today (21/8), HUMI scored an IDR 62 rise to IDR 262 per share from the previous IDR 200. It peaked to IDR 266 last Friday, whereas the lowest price throughout the session was recorded at IDR 200 per share.

Approximately 1.01 billion shares were being traded in 56,397 transactions worth IDR 243.12 billion. The increase of HUMI’s stock price was reportedly lower than the first surge recorded last Wednesday, driving investors to divest more of their portions. Foreign sell was recorded at 27.19 million, whereas foreign buy reached 13.34 million.

Then, PT Berkah Prima Perkasa Tbk (BLUE) scored the runner-up spot after gaining 24.41% shift in stock price. The shares were being traded at IDR 525 per share, its highest throughout the day and IDR 103 higher from the initial IDR 422 per share. The lowest was recorded at IDR 410 per share.

The positive trend encourages mass-buy of investors, leading to foreign buy of 9,600 shares and foreign sell of 7,300 shares. The volume of traded shares was 656,700 units, recorded within 209 transactions worth IDR 305.89 million. (LK/ZH)
