JAKARTA – The stock of PT Central Proteina Prima Tbk (CPRO) reportedly increased 33.96% throughout yesterday’s (29/8) session in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). This shift follows the rise of development-board issuers in top gainers’ list.

Based on IDX data quoted Tuesday (29/8), CPRO’s shares went up IDR 18 to IDR 71 per share from the initial IDR 53 per share. Said closing price was also its highest, whereas the lowest was recorded at IDR 53 per share.

The volume of traded shares clocked up to 1.86 billion units, all recorded within 22,994 transactions worth IDR 120.19 billion. The positive trend of JCI further encourages investors to actively purchase CPRO’s shares, resulting in foreign buy of 81.40 million and foreign sell of 47.77 million shares.

Then, PT Data Sinergitama Jaya Tbk (ELIT) arrived at the runner-up position after scoring 28.71% increase. It was closed at IDR 121, shifting IDR 27 from the initial IDR 94 per share.

The total traded shares were 94.56 million, which were recorded in 8,501 transactions worth IDR 10.93 billion. Investors’ enthusiasm in mass-collecting ELIT’s shares was reflected in foreign buy of 4.84 million shares, whereas the foreign sell was only 3.59 million. (LK/ZH)
